Character Education - Character Trait of the Month

Responsibility

Taking ownership of our actions and understanding how our choices impact ourselves and others. It means to do what you're suppose to do when you're suppose to do it.

How does being responsible look for students:

-Completing homework everyday

-Going to bed on time

-Asking for help when needed

Respect

Respect is caring enough to consider how words and actions impact others.

We can show respect for people, places and things by:

-Using kind or polite words even when you're upset.

-Using manners like sharing, waiting your turn, saying please and thank you.

Kindness

Kindness means being friendly, generous and being considerate of others. It means acting out of the thoughts of other. Always spread kindness like confetti!

Caring

Caring means being kind to your and others. Caring people are compassionate and they help others in need!

Honesty

Honesty means to tell the truth and not hide the truth!
